DV And ANTA And Nepali Diaspora

The DV route is the best route to increase the Madhesi population in the US. A few things need to happen.

(1) More people need to apply from all the Terai districts. It is so easy to do. You go online at an internet cafe, and you do it.

(2) Those who win the lottery and have no contacts in the US should have the option to inform ANTA through its website.

(3) ANTA should not only use its network but also the network of the other Nepali organizations to help out those folks.

I was talking to Anand Bist Tuesday evening, and he and his organization are willing to help any Nepali, Pahadi or Madhesi, to the best of their abilities. I think ANTA should make use of this offer and seek similar offers from as many other Nepali organizatinos across the country as possible. ANTA should not rely on itself.

This DV thing could end up being the most important thing ANTA does.

Just to let you all know, based on our discussion and interviews with the team of Mithilanjali - a popular Monthly magazine published in Maithali from KTM, they have started putting FREE advertisements about DV Lottery Winners to contact ANTA. The winner(s) have to contact the Mithilanjali, and Mithilanjali will forward the request to us. I saw the ads in 2 of their consecutive issues. The magazine also carried a story about ANTA and Interviews with me and Mukesh Singh. Thus, we're spreading words about ANTA in general, and with respect to DV Lottery winner in particular.
